Frequently Asked Questions
1. What exactly is cash-based physical therapy?
Cash-based physical therapy means I am not in-network with insurance companies, so that I can provide the highest level of care possible for you! This means you are not limited to a certain number of visits per year, we can treat multiple areas of the body at one time and I can provide exactly what you need without worrying of insurance covering it or not.
2. Do I need a referral?
No! In the state of Tennessee, you do not need a referral to see a PT directly. I will communicate with anyone on your healthcare team that you want me to. Your health comes first, so if there is something I cannot help you with I will find a healthcare provider who can.
3. Can I use my insurance?
No, I do not accept insurance. However, depending on your specific plan, your insurance may reimburse you for your sessions. It typically depends where you are on meeting your deductible. I can provide you with a superbill that you can then give to your insurance company.
4. Can I use my HSA/FSA?
Absolutely! I also accept payment by cash, check, card and venmo.
5. Do you have a physical location?
No, at the moment I am mobile...meaning I come to your home, gym or office! I bring my table, equipment and anything I need with me. I travel to areas in Franklin, TN, Bellevue, TN, West Nashville, TN, Brentwood, TN, Green Hills, TN, Belle Meade, TN and Leipers Fork, TN.
